I will make this as brief as possible- I have OCD and have 
been on Luvox for 4 years. I went off for 4 months last year and 
resumed my 150mg dose in January this year. Since May this 
year I have had incoordination of arms and hands, muscle 
twitching and jerking especially right foot, muscles feel heavy 
and tight, jaw aches when I chew, extreme fatigue(exhaustion), 
my arms feel like I worked out for 3 hours after I wash my hair, 
hyper reflexes, startle very easy, pins and needles periodically 
everywhere, numbness and tingling everywhere, burning 
sensations on various parts of my body, slowed mental 
proceses, slurred and slowed speech, trouble swallowing, 
difficulty walking poor balance and severely gross soaking night 
sweats, blurred vision at times, crawly sensations on my skin. All 
symptoms come and go from 10 minutes to hour. My tests are 
all normal except an ANA showed moderately positive semi 
histone quantitative, I have slightly elevated thyroid antibody, and 
a small venous anomaly on the left side of my brain. I am 31, 
female and healthy till this. I was doing home occupational 
therapy until end of May this year. Now I've lost my job and get 
confused remebering my own address, what day it is. The other 
day I said it was the year 1876!!! I've had an MRI, CAT of all of my 
spine, lumbar puncture, lyme tests, syphillis tests, MS ruled out, 
parneoplastic cancer ruled out. My psych doc said all through 
these last 6 months "it can't be luvox- you're on too small a 
dose". Last week my husband and I drove to the Cleveland clinic 
from Chicago to see my 4th neurologist. He said- sounds like 
the side affect of a drug. Probably Luvox!! Now we just saw a 
neuropharmacology psychiatric doc and he really thinks it is the 
luvox and now I'm being weaned off. Any advice? Any actions to 
take? Please help. Thanks for your time.

Sherri- Thanks for your kind words. I am amazed at the power of 
these drugs! How scary. We do have brain damage now don't 
we? I guess thats exactly what it is. I am nevr going on these 
pilss or any near close to it again.
